Anyone else like the dubbed version better?

Normally I tend to prefer watching Anime in Japanese with subtitles to get a better undestanding of the original character personas and story element, but when it comes to this movie I find that the English audio is much more entertaining.

The script is just too serious in the Japanese version, but in the English dub most of it has been replaced with great one liners.

Sorry guys but I absolutely hate the dub of "Fist of the North Star". Although I am not one of those people who have watched it in Japanese first, I have seen a lot of dubs in my time that have been good to excellent, as well as some bad ones. But aside from finding the movie underwhelming, I found the dub to be a boring waste of talents. Save for the occasional decent moment, everybody involved with the dub, including Michael McConnohie, and Greg Snegoff, are all wasted, giving their characters, if you can call them that, nothing but wooden, stilted, robotic and flat "performances" and with similarly atrocious overacting bits. I don't care if this dub is considered a "classic"; I simply found it boring and I mean boring with a capital "B".

If anything, it only makes an already bad movie (which this film is, IMO), even worse. If anyone else finds enjoyment in it, great. But I absolutely detest both the dub and this movie. It's on my list of one of the worst dubs of all time. There are far better dubs to invest in than this dated, inane train wreck.
