Okay, I like Kyle Hurbert and think he did the Gohan voice pretty well in the series, but what I don't understand is why didn't they get the guy who spoke Gohan in this movie to speak him in the show? Is it because the timeline change, even changed people's future looks and sounds? Or did they just want someone new? I don't quite understand why.

I think Gohan's voice in the movie is a lot cooler than in the show. I don't really like Kyle Hebert's voice. But Gohan was 23 in the movie and about 17 or 18 in the show so they were probably trying to make him sound older.

Yeah but his voice sounds the same in DBZ even when he is older, and in GT and at the end of Z he is at least 30 years old and still has Herbet's voice.

Oh, well I'll count the end of dbz but not gt. Gt never happened for me, it's disgraceful. I guess it's just the way they made the film.

I guess... did you know that the person who speaks Gohan in this movie also speaks Cell. They sound very distant from one another, I think Dameon is talented. You can't even tell that he speaks Cell at all. He's cool.
But I still like Kyle, he has a cool voice too.

Actually I can tell cell is the same as gohan. It's not that hard to tell apart.

...How come no one here knows how to spell Kyle's last name? Hurbert, Herbet (reminds me of "sherbet"...mmm...sherbet...) - it's Hebert. I'm just saying this because my boyfriend knows Kyle and I believe he'd be offended. It's not a hard name to spell. Pronouncing it, on the other hand...*sighs* Goof tells everyone it's pronounced "AY-bear". I knew a kid when I was a freshman in high school with the same spelling, and he pronounced it the way it's spelled. Oh well, I guess it's his name, he'd know. I just think it's goofy.
By the way, I do like Kyle's voice for Gohan, but I feel that Dameon's serious, hard-voiced Gohan is a bit more appropriate for the timeline than Kyle's sort of silly, more laid-back Gohan. Kyle's style of voicing Gohan wouldn't really fit for the movie.
