This is not a great film by any stretch of the imagination.

But it is a fun submarine war movie. Its tense, has great build up and is over all a pretty cool idea.

But Jesus they way people carry on.

Ohh the U- Boat Captains didn't do this, oh the Americans didn't break the code, ohh the Brits won the war, the Russians won, the Nazi's should have won the war. Blah, Blah, Blah.

This movie was not a documentary, it was just a summer movie.

People should leave all the BS out of it.

Haven't seen this film since it was in the theater, but I saw it twice there. It was a good movie--and that's all it should be taken for: Entertainment.

All films, even those based purely on a real life event, will not show exactly what happened at all times.
