I'm 28 years old and I watched this with my seven year old daughter the other night on a ABC family...
What a horrible film!
For me as an adult I hated this movie. Who the hell decided it was a good Idea to KILL the father in the begging of the film then have him come back as a snowman only to leave his family again at the end of the film? Did no one think this was a really sad plot for a child's movie? My daughter cried after watching this and she never gets emotional from movies.
The whole film was boring and really forgettable.
I have it 2/10 just to be nice. This film sucked big time.

To each their own. I'm not trying to be mean.

If I had to pick my favorite children's/ kids film it would no doubt be the labyrinth. Now that was a good movie.

I disagree. While it is a bad movie, it's not because of the idea that he comes back only to leave again. That happens because the 3 need closure. It's not different from movies about ghosts who stay on this world with pending issues.
