Did anybody like this movie? (A litlle spoiler)

I just looked at the thread, and couldn't find any positive threads about this movie, so I'm asking if anybody thought it was good.

I liked it. Mostly because it's not like most american crap-love stories, you see all the time. I thought that Ben was going to go with Sandra Bullock at the end, since that would have happened in every other american love story. This movie was good, and deserves alot more.

I love the visual style of the movie. About the story: either you like or not - it's that simple.

oh i love this movie!! but i think its coz im a big fan of sandra bullock and ben affleck. =] its a unique movie nd im watching it now...and its very enjoyable.

I watch this movie whenever I see it listed on my movie channels and laugh every time. Ben and Sandra are always hilarious and it's a fun story with great actors.

i like the movie quite a bit. think it's also underrated and i love the visual style. but everyone keeps saying the ending was unconventional and i have to disagree. they played it safe in my book having him stick to getting married. the more bold move would've had him call his wedding off and leave with sarah. but that's just my opinion

reply

Just to get another +1 opinion on this message board. I definitely like this movie a lot.

reply

Well...I liked it,but I think it could have a better ending.

reply

I liked it to..

Like someone else said. The ending was kinda werid. I thought for sure he was calling off the wedding and going to be with sarah for a sec... LOL

I really enjoyed this movie. I think it had all the light and fluffy elements to make it entertaining, but then it has a far more realism as it draws to a close with Ben and Sarah going their separate ways but taking something that they learned from each other with them. I think the ending was bold, and it was different and very fitting. The visual style of this movie was extraordinary and very well done. Its not the deepest movie in the world, but it definitely has a lot to offer, especially from the other movies that were released at the time.

I thought this was a great movie. I think it was visually stunning and I could guess from the style of the movie that it would have an unconvetional ending. I thought the ending made the movie that much better because it wasn't typical. That is what made it beautiful. The two characters didn't end up being as selfish or flighty as they could have been and realized that true love is about being responsible and not only thinking about yourself.

I really liked the movie, but I wanted a different ending for Affleck and Bullock.

I liked this film, too. I thought for most of it that Ben was going to get with Sarah (Sandra Bullock) and it was only towards the end when they were in the eye of the hurricane outside that I realised he was going to end up with Bridget. It was unconvential in this way, and that's why I thought it was a good film.

This movie was OK, but I found Bullock's performance WAY over the top. She was just a bit much in this movie for me. I liked her a lot better in HOPE FLOATS.

I actually REALLY liked this movie.. Which is weird, cause I don't normally like these types of films. But I just saw it on HBO and I thought it was great. Just the overall way the film was made just blew me away. It is SO different from the other films of its category. And the ending was just brilliant. I never expected that at all.. It was really good.

I need to go on pretending... until the end... with you.

I REALLY liked the movie - visually breathtaking and the ending was my favorite part.

I think it's better than most of these type of romantic comedies at least. I'm glad he ended up with Bridget.

The movie is not anyhing more then "ok" in my opinion and I`d give it a 5 so the current grade is about right in my opinion.

The acting isn`t that much to write home about but I give kudos to the movie for it`s visual style and John Powell`s score, which is much better then the soundtrack.

i liked that he didn't end up with sarah...it made it that much more believable...i think that little detail made it stick out from all the other movies

I like this film too... (I even own it)...:)

Not the best romantic-comedy...but I Love it's amazing visual "look"!

I live in south carolina...so it was fun to see them stop at South of the Border too... lol

And I was happy that Ben stayed true to his finacee.

This movie is definitely worth watching! :)
