Hi, just felt i needed to start off some discussion about this film, i hate seeing empty boards,
So who acctually enjoyed this movie i thought it was a good 'One-off' kids movie who agrees with me.?

Encore Family is showing it. I got in at about the halfway mark, so I can't really judge it. Maybe I'll catch it from the start someday.

It's not bad, but it's not great either.
shareIt was bad, believe me. Even Malcolm McDowell couldn't save it.
The family was frequently yelling, usually the same phrase (help him!) or word (Dad!). My favorite scene near the end is where the mother is standing in the crowd yelling at them.
Who directed and/or wrote this had to be thinking of an audience of 5 year-olds and under. Which is okay but usually they need one parent accompaniment and I pity the parent.
I love fantasty and this had potential! The effects would be so much better today.
