What did we think of the scene where...

… in that shopping centre, SPOILERS ALERT, his mother nearly strangles that chick Rachel to death, out of vengeance for what she did to his son? And let's be calm, rational, normal and mature here please?

Even if you COULD indeed understand it, maybe agree, maybe not 100% agree, did that in a way shock you as well?

Sort of perhaps how, on a related CINEMATIC note and SPOILER alert - in the film "Good Son" (1993), the mother had to make a decision between saving one son and you know...

As a decent and civilized human being, how did you feel? And also, as a cinematic viewer, if one from EITHER scene derived cathartic form of understanding, is that alright, and so that you don't judge us here especially if, like me, even as a man (me being a 36 year old white Russian/English male), you're still a very subtle and sensitive type of human being? And oh well.

And that's not touching even upon what followed AFTERWARDS or even this film's ENDING which is almost like a reversal "Swimfan" (2002) though it pre-dates that movie by 3 years.
