Incredible that this was Maggie's (Tina Holmes') first movie

Every time I watch this film I'm blown away by how natural and effortless Tina's acting is, and it's even more impressive considering this was her first movie ever! There's absolutely no reason why she shouldn't be an A-list actress by now. If I was a casting director I'd be ALL over her. She was absolutely flawless in this movie with not a single misstep.

And as an aside, I love Love LOVE the mom in the movie (Stephanie McVay)! She's the perfect "mom" character if there ever was one. She reminds me of Grace (Edie McClurg) from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. She too should have a much larger acting career than she has.
