As for sex with a child in the room, I don't recall that having happened in his movie, but how do you think our cave and tent dwelling ancestors had sex with the entire family living in one room? I'm pretty sure millions of children heard or witnessed adults having sex over the millenia yet the sun hasn't been extinguished nor has the sky fallen..
I watched Hideous Kinky yesterday and as the previous posters wrote, the problem was completely in the eyes (and the distorted mind) of the beholder. The OP is the perfect example of a certain social current, and I'm sorry to say, mostly present in the American society, that makes such an obsession about nudity that these people indeed sexualize the least gesture devoid of any carnal intent, and blows their inquisitor's whistle at anybody who dares embrace a child under age without any subconscious meaning other than the most chaste love from adult to child. Or sleeping in their undies or taking a bath with their naked parent when the child is very young: it's healthy and devoid of any ill intent. And you see the eyes of the same people blasting out of their orbits when they take a vacation on a Cuban or a French beach, where freely exposed breasts are plentiful for the sole purpose of getting a good uniform suntan. I would love to see these puritans observe the European women who still sunbathe (or bathe) topless: surely their tongue must be full of sand from falling off their mouth at every second!
It sort of reminds me of the '50s.... Perhaps are we witnessing the advent of a new McCarthyism where the commies have been replaced by the nudies. And during all those precious hours spent at seeing sex sex sex in every innocent situation where nudity is present, guns and semiautomatic weapons are killing thousands of innocent victims every year without hearing the least fuss made by the sexual witch hunters!
