Classic Hollywood ended 30 years ago. Now it's nothing but remakes, terrible comedy films, and super hero films. This one falls into the first category and I've been trying to forget this was even made the minute I seen Mark Wahlberg's name in it.

I like the creation of a distinct ape culture, and how it was portrayed in the movie and the eventual rebellion of Humans, that mirror the rebellion of the Apes has an echo of George Orwell's Animal Farm to it. Could it have been better? yes probably. Is it a bad adoptation? not at all!
