"I called Brett Favre and told him to bring Warren..."

I know it's just a movie, but how in the world would Ted have been able to call Brett Favre and ask him to pick up Warren and come to Mary's house? That seemed a bit corny to me.

Some random guy calls the Green Bay Packers and asks if he can get Brett Favre's number so he can talk to him? I don't think it works that way. He would have had to have found the number off of Mary somehow, but it sounds like she broke up w/ Brett awhile ago and Ted never mentions anything about retrieving it from her.

He would've said "Tell Brett it concerns Mary, his ex-gf."
There's something about her - he would respond.

Who would have he even known to call and obtain that number?

That's the thing you can't believe in this movie??

Yes, everything else is 100% believable at all times.

Thanks for the laugh of the day. Literal tears.

I think if he tried to contact Brett Favre concerning Mary, he would be able to. He's Ben Stiller!

maybe he got it indirectly from Tucker - raided his jacket, found an address book. Or his friend who fed-exed the signed baseball also had connections with the Packers.
