subtly hysterical parts

Mary's mother and step-father's wedding picture. David Keith with the afro and the Muslim garb is hysterical.

The way Tucker calls Healy a piece of sh!t.

I'm dying, Ted..."

"Little bastard shot me in the ass!"

reply

I always loved how ben stiller's hood just pops onto his head after the cop slams him on the desk in the interrogation scene

reply

"Oh, great. So I'm lucky because my brother died in an explosion?"

reply

When the police are interrogating Ted
Police: Why did you do it?
Ted: I don't know, boredom...

reply

"I work with retards."

The way he delivered that line, and the expression he made after saying it, just killed me.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

reply

"Exceptional, my a$$!"

lol he is so offensive.

Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

I like the scene when Tucker first meets Healy and Mary, the end of one of his crutches ends up under Healy's jacket and he swats it away. Cracks me up.

Another one:

Tucker (to Healy): "Well at least I don't show a woman how much I like her by blowing farts in her face."
Healy: "You've been following us."

reply

Don't flatter yourself, I was following her. *weird face* I always do.

My most recent rewatch, I only noticed for the first time that when Tucker says "blowing farts in her face", Ted actually turns round and looks at Healey like "what"
Not sure if that was directed or if Ben Still was ad-libbing. So subtle. It's brilliant

When Ted asks Mary what kind of dog is behind the bathroom door and Mary's neighbor says "Porter Terrier!" in her breathless voice- on- crank after she accidentally swallows speed. Laughed for a solid five minutes at that last night.

In the scene when Ted goes to see Woogie at work. Woogie is in a conference room where the big white tablet says :

"BUS CRASH : 12 KIDS KILLED. WHAT DOES THIS COST US ?"

love that
