The Stepsisters were such clowns!

I've seen many different versions of this story on tv, and read more versions of it in books, and this one apparently has the goofiest stepsisters of any Cinderella story.

I mean, the two of them are so silly that nobody could take them seriously, and they wore the craziest, gaudiest clothes you ever saw. At the ball, they looked like two pieces of mismatched furniture from a gypsy garage sale, hehehe.

On the other hand, their version of "The Stepsister's Lament" (that's apparently what that song is called) was funnier and more entertaining than in the '65 version, complete with them falling into a fountain at the end of the song.
