Am I the only one that thought that Fox books was better.

Throughout the whole movie, I kept thinking to myself that fox books was the better business. They kept demeaning it because it had discount books, so what!!! That's what made it better!!!! "The shop around the corner" books were super expensive if no anyone noticed. When joe fox bought a bag of maybe 6 or 7 books the cashier rang him up 73 dollars! Those are some seriously expensive books. Basically I think that Fox books was the better store.

Also, one of the books he purchased from the little store was a special copy or edition of some rare book or something like that, which he discussed with that guy working in the store. I don't remember the details but it was specified to be a valuable item in the dialogue.

I don´t know. I prefer the small, personal shops - but because they offer somenthing the big chain stores don´t - jewelry, homemade food, ceramics. But books? I´m affraid I´d prefer the big Fox store too; not for discount only, but for more books to choose.
