First of all, Cuba didn't have anything to do with the script, and all you did was complain about the script here. Secondly, if you had actually watched the whole movie all the way through (I envision you blasting the movie the whole time instead of actually watching it, evidenced by your ignorance and lack of comprehension), you would have noticed how the rain scenes developed and why. They had absolutely nothing to do with Shawshank, other than both ideas being driven by freedom. However, Shawshank's scene was one scene having to do with a man physically finding freedom from prison, while the scenes in Instinct were a well constructed progression of two people who found mental freedom from the illusion of control that society has instilled in them. You might know that, if you would watch a movie like this with an open-mind, instead of believing brain dead, heartless critics, and if you were emotionally capable of receiving the breathtaking message this movie has to offer.
