Am I the only one who thinks these kids are pitiful?

After watching this movie, this is what I would like to say.

William- Despite the fact that he had a rap sheet of decent things he did in school, Merit Scholar included, he had no business drinking alcohol whatsoever. He didn't need to drink to fit in PERIOD. He's so lucky that creep Mike Dexter covered for him when he woke up in jail for the first time. Furthermore, if he wanted to seek revenge against a bully, he should have done that when he was in school. When I was in high school, I made sure that whoever bullied me got what they deserved. During my freshman year, a guy was picking on me and I made sure that he would receive payback, regardless of the fact that it was on my sweet sixteen birthday. When I saw him do something he had no business doing when the teacher was NOT in the room, I got revenge for 3 reasons #1 payback for picking on me, #2 I felt sorry for what the teacher went through because of him, and #3 he ruined my sweet sixteen birthday. Not only he got arrested and was removed from her class, but I only saw him in the hallways a few times until he was no longer a student there. Point is, William became a mad dog with a piece of meat in his mouth after he finished school. I'm glad he had some sense to get that meat out of his mouth after the party was over and let fate take over. Besides, once those pictures were involved and Mike became unemployed meant that revenge came too late. In fact, when he went to the diner, he should've said this: #1 thanks for helping me last night, #2 he wasn't worth it, and #3 be careful out there in the real world. That way, he would have felt a lot better and could careless about ridicule in public. That's what I would have done and would have let that creep act a fool all he wants to.

Michael- I despised his behavior throughout this movie. He acted like macho man idiot to look good during and after the party. Also, he made a big mistake dumping Amanda because in a way, he realized that he had something good and he ruined it, especially when he let alcohol be involved in his life. I bet when he was jail with William, the officer warned him about alcohol use too. The difference is that he did NOT listen. He even talked about going to a bar the next day. He kept playing with fire and now it came back to bite him in the behind. Furthermore, the way he said Amanda's name while drunk sounded really brainless. Aman-DUH! Give me a break. Furthermore, it's not nice to make fun of people. When you do bad things, bad things come to you. Mike got his rewards afterwards. No girlfriend/wife, overweight and unemployed. That's how bad reality hurts.

Amanda- Even after Mike dumped her, I was surprised that she knew about Mike's behavior as a bully towards other students and didn't do anything except stayed with him throughout high school for some attention. I'm glad that she did not drink at that party and told him what a jerk he was. Seeing him get embarrassed was the best thing I saw throughout this movie. Good for him. Also, Preston liked her for HER, not Mike. This clearly proves that Mike was a pawn in his game too. She didn't even give that guy a chance at first. I'm glad that she did in the end. Who knows, they might end up engaged to be married.

Denise and Kenny- Kenny needed to get fornication out of his mind. This is about as bad as American Pie, especially when Jim fornicated and got hurt afterwards. Denise should have known better than to continue laying up with a freak like that. She got hurt too. All they did was break up and get back together. Either you want to be with someone or you don't. Plain and simple. This is why I'm glad that I'm abstinent.

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that thinks that you are pitiful.

How am I pitiful? I spoke what I had to say about the characters, especially William and Mike. That was so weak as far as William getting vengeance. You already know the story of my vengeance on my "sweet sixteen" birthday. The creep that bullied me during my freshman year in high school broke the law. Remember that. The act he committed was larceny-theft.

"Pitiful" isn't the right word, but:

All the characters are bit odd or even, well, "funny." That's what makes it a comedy.

It does seem to be "thing" on IMDB for someone to describe exactly what the movie-makers told us about the characters and their actions as if nobody else noticed it and it were a criticism.

"Kane was really arrogant and full of himself and treated Susan badly. She couldn't sing and just irritated people when she tried to do so. Kane and his first wife didn't get along with each other at all. He thought about his sled just before he died."

A-freaking-men to that.
