Other Point + Click/adventure games as good as Blade Runner?

Have been playing Blade Runner for years and can simply say that it has got to be the best of its kind. Even adventure games on the third generation consoles come nowhere near to capturing the same level of mystery, intrigue and ambience that this does.

Was just wondering if anybody has ever played a game they felt went very close to matching or dare I say it exceeding the quality of it?

I have played a lot of PC point and clicks in the past including the monkey island series, broken sword series and Full Throttle all of which are fantastic games but I am yet to get the same kick I got when I played Blade Runner right back in 1999!!

Any suggestions appreciated...

The closest a point & click adventure game comes to Blade Runner is a game called Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy. The voice acting in this is horrible but it's quite a good game with nice graphics and an interesting story.

Another oldie but goodie is Beneath A Steel Sky, which also borrows a lot from Blade Runner. You can play it using DOSbox or ScummVM.
