prequel

I think a prequel to this movie would be interesting - showing Carlton's childhood and young adulthood, and what his parents were like. All we know about his parents is that his father was a captain in the Marines. It'd be interesting to see what led Carlton down such a dark path. I'd also like it explained how Carlton could afford living in a two-story house. Even if he'd inherited it, did he have any income to pay property taxes? And why wasn't it seized while he was in the hospital?
