Pretty good film, but here's my idea for a better ending.

I think a much cooler ending would be to have the group actually lose Quentin, so that he is left behind in the Cube without any knowledge of how to get out. So, the rest of the group (that earned it) would be shown making their way outside, with the final scene showing a desperate Quentin having to jump into rooms without knowing if they are traps or not, finally being killed by a unique trap that we have not seen before.

This would also be interesting because the opening and final scenes would feature someone being killed in a trap room.

The movie made a big fuss about the uselessness of the cube. So any survivors who could actually make something of the experience would defeat the point. There's nothing to earn, and nothing to learn, as far as we know. I love the ambiguity.

imo Quentin should've just died when he got dropped on his head 14 feet down.

and all 3 of those fools should've escaped with maybe just Kazan shown walking into the brightness and the others just behind. it was dumb to kill them.

Imo nobody should've ever been able to escape. Like to go through all that just to escape to an entirely new 26x26 cube, and that cube is just one 'room' in a bigger 26x26 cube, and that cube is part of a bigger one, and it just goes on forever. Would've been more.. eh kafkaesque and hellish that way since there's no real understanding or resolution.
