In "Wild Wild West" (1999), good guys Jim West (Will Smith) and Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline) pursue bad guy Dr. Arliss Loveless (Kenneth Branagh) against a post-Civil War, "wild" west backdrop. Defeated and bitter, evil genius Loveless seeks nothing short of the overthrow of the United States government, and he'll do anything--including the kidnapping of the nation's best and brightest scientists--to achieve that end. President Ulysses S. Grant assigns unlikely partners trigger-happy Captain West and brainy U.S. Marshal Gordon the task of finding the missing scientists and preserving the United States government.

As Loveless lost the lower half of his body in the Civil War, his assistants and bodyguards--Munitia, Miss East, Amazonia, and Miss Lippenrieder--handle all of the menial tasks. Menial tasks like disposing of bodies, executing his enemies, and operating cutting edge machinery like steam-powered gunboats, tanks, and gargantuan spiders.

They were my favourite part of the movie.

In fact they should have been in the movie MORE than they were.

Why wasn't the movie instead, made about Dr. Loveless' girls!? It could've been an old west version of Charlie's Angels.

If you look up the script online, there is an extended version of West's final encounter with Miss East and it sounds hilarious and smokin' hot.

East...meets West. Bai Ling was (is) quite sexy. That sounds like a good scene, to bad it didn't make the cut.
