They made Major West too clueless when it comes to...

...courting a woman.

I was never a fan of Matt LeBlanc (or Friends), but he’s well cast here as the space flying ace. Too bad he’s given really eye-rolling lines concerning his romantic pursuit of Judy (Heather Graham). I get it that the writers wanted to paint Judy as a scientific intellectual and Major West as a dumb fighter pilot but -- come on -- NO ONE is that clueless.
