Needs a jerk character

I and other users have mentioned before that the film could benefit from having a new “Dr. Loomis”-type character, possibly the detective from the beginning of the movie, but the film also could use a “jerk”-type character who maybe could be some sleazy guy who is trying to hit on the teenage girls and/or some competition for John. Sometimes it is good in this type of slasher film to have someone you look forward to seeing get killed by Michael Myers or fall prey to their own ignorance. Like in the previous films you had Bud in Halloween II and Mike in Halloween 5 whose deaths feel as though they had it coming.
