Actors behind the masks

It’s supposed to be part of the mystery in the film, but has there ever been official confirmation who the actors are that play the masked people at the ritual ceremony other than Leon Vitali as Red Cloak? I always assumed to that the masked person Bill nods to and later sees in the library is Sydney Pollack since he appears more prominently and his character later talks about the events of the ritual.
