The perfect spy thriller {spoilers}

SPOILERS.

The majority of society have only just recently gotten paranoid about being spied on since the "Snowden" movie came out, but that sort of stuff has been around in movies for years and "Enemy Of The State" is the perfect example, the NSA / CIA / British Intelligence want to spy on innocent people to catch bad guys, they need to do what they've got to do. "Carla Dean" was smart and was speaking truth, but at the same time she seemed to understand why they would tap innocent people's phones.

"Enemy Of The State" is one of those greatest movies of all time, but if they want the audience to like a character they need to make him 100% likeable, example "Robert Dean"'s likeability factor was decreasing when he snapped at a couple of people who did nothing wrong to him (example he snapped at his assistant and he snapped at the receptionist at the hotel) it's understandable that he's now under pressure, but snap at the people who are actually messing up your life instead.

"Enemy Of The State" is a great cat and mouse thriller, Regina King as "Carla Dean" added a little comedy with a few humorous one-liners, it works well with a thriller movie, sometimes a few comedic lines are needed in thriller flicks to release a tiny bit of tension.

How do we know until we've heard all of your dirty little secrets

Normally, I don't like spy movies, but I did like this one. Probably because, technically, this isn't a spy movie.

Yes. I like believing the ex-spy is more relatable although he fits into the overeducated paranoid role.
Former NSA, expert telecommunication skills and seemingly disconnected from power people influences, unless he has clout with major players we're not seeing--highly unlikely that that happens any other way though the movie makes it seem possible. Therefore, you must wish this character is true.

Yeah there's the lawyer man in the middle....who's fairly relatable also and yet who do you love?
