...that people would be deposited in the same place after 15 minutes? It could be random places.

what exactly do you mean? which scene or scenario? elaborate

The first time that Craig was expelled from Malkovich's brain he was deposited in a particular place, near the New Jersey Turnpike. How did he know that people would always land there until it happened for the second time?

he thought that was the "exit" and he was right.
