Something about Norton's acting

His acting was cool in here, no doubt about it but there's something wrong about his acting in the last part... when his brother died and he cried. I could see he's struggling to get that crying acting, honestly.

That's the director's fault. Every actor can sometimes "screw" a scene, but the duty of a director is to keep filming, until he got the scene right.
And I really doubt, that Norton couldn't do better.

Well said, was just about post the same. The director settled for less. Norton did provided stronger performances in other scenes. The director likely rushed the end, or it was first thing done.

It's exactly what I thought when I watched the movie.
Norton is one of my favourite actors, so I was a bit disappointed by this scene. He was supposed to express double pain (for his brother's death and for the sense of guilt), but I honestly didn't feel the pain.
What a pity, in the rest of the movie he was very convincing.
