how come Dark Specter had no depth in him????

how come the Dark Specter character had no depth in him and what if the Rangers went against him???

how much more evil was he than the other villians in your opinion.

reply

He was a megalomaniacal demon and cunning manipulator as well as one of the most powerful enemies the Rangers ever encountered . Depth wasn`t exactly the point . Nonetheless , I much preferred Karone/Astronema and Ecliptor as villains precisely because they had more depth .

reply

The likes of Lord Zedd and King Mondo obeyed Dark Specter without question. Pretty certain the Rangers would've been burnt to a crisp had they taken him on.

reply

they wouldnt have stood a chance even in a Megazord? They should have had more of him as he was another stuck in the mud villain.

reply

Well, he was powerful enough to create a meteor that was so strong, it took four Megazords together to stop it. Yeah, Dark Specter would likely wipe out a Megazord(he is the size of a planet, after all).

reply

give details on how a battle with Dark Specter woiuld go

I mean he never took on the Rangers, only a couple times did he appear to the RAngers.

how long had he been in charge of the 4 factions?

reply

Well, one thing we know for sure is that the Zords would be really small compared to Dark Specter, so it's safe to assume he'd have no difficulties smashing them. The only reason Dark Specter was killed was because Darkonda was sneaky and shot that missile at him. The missile was powerful enough to destroy an entire planet, "or something as big as one". In fact, Dark Specter may have survived the blast, had his power not been seriously drained by the Psycho Rangers.

reply

what would Dark Specter have done to the rangers if they confronted him without a megazord? also what if they set a megazord on self destruct on him?

when Dark Specter went on the view screen demanding return of Astronema, did they know who he was?

reply

To confront him without a Megazord would be suicide. If they set a zord to self destruct on him, it would have about the same effect as throwing a small rock at the school bully. It would only annoy and/or anger him. They self destructed a zord on a regular sized monster in Turbo, and it didn't do any good. Why would it hurt a planet-sized monarch like Specter?

And I'm sure they knew who he was. They already knew Dark Specter was calling the shots, so they knew he'd be the one to make such a demand.

On that note it would've been funny if Tommy, Adam, Kat, Tanya, and Justin were still rangers, and upon seeing him they had a "Maligore?" moment. Haha

reply

probably. what would dark specter do to the rangers if they confronted him without a megazord. why didnt he battle the Rangers? How would the RAngers defeat him, as it took draining his energy from the Physcho Rangers and 2 Super Torpedo missles to destroy him.

what would happen if DArk Specter landed in Angel Grove?

reply

Dark Specter never confronted them personally, for the same reason Zedd and Rita didn't(with one exception for Zedd). He's the big bad boss, even higher ranked than Zedd. He's a monarch of evil. He doesn't have to get his hands dirty, as he has a large number of evil forces working for him.

It's safe to say, the Rangers couldn't stop him, as they never wielded that kind of fire power. Unless they got ahold of those missiles, and did him in themselves.

reply

how would the RAngers have destroyed him. I always pictured a megazord battle between dark specter and the rangers back 16 yrs ago when they aired in Space.

ZEdd faught against the Rangers TWICE: Tommy in Changing in the Zords and Andros in DArk Specter's conference

Why were all the villians scared of him?

was DArk Specter lazy?

reply

Dark Specter was the size of a planet. He'd crush a Megazord with his little finger.

Zedd swung his staff at Andros, which was promptly blocked. I'd hardly consider that Zedd actually fighting.

reply

yup! and what would Dark Specter do th te rangers. your saying they would have NO CHANCE against him. I remember his hand was the size of teh DArk Fortress. why was Dark Specter so gigantic?

reply

lol I don't know why he was so big. Just born that way I guess.

reply

when Dark Specter poped up in front of the dark fortress taking the hit that was to hit the dark fortress, did Dark Specter do that to save Astronema?

Also did Dark Specter have a sense of humor?

reply

No, he popped up to take Darkonda down with him.

He never showed a sense of humor, so I highly doubt it.

reply

doesnt Dark Specter realized he SAVED Astronema?

I Thought he had one, like mocking Andros when he says KArone how could you when Astronema set the RAngers up.

reply

He died. I highly doubt he realizes anything.

Being amused by the humiliation of a Ranger doesn't really qualify asvavsense of humor.

reply

why would he realize anything and ironic how he died before the 4 factions.

why did DArk Specter sound amused

I wish he was in more episodes. he was only in 3 eps in season 1.

reply

If you were an evil monarch and you'd humiliated the enemy that had ruined so many of your master plans in the past, would you not be amused?

reply

I see what you mean. WAs Dark Specter a less important villian? and why did he swallow Darkonda?

reply

While he was the head villain, the series wasn't about him, so yeah I guess you could say he technically wasn't one of the most important characters.

He swallowed Darkonda because Darkonda attacked him. Dark Specter's not the type to take too kindly to a traitor in his army.

reply

dark specter should have been and what did he seen in dark specter's mouth???

at least Dark Specter saved AStronema

Why did AStronema get so emotional over Dark Specter's explosions?

reply

He didn't see anything. He just knew he was about to die.

reply

She didn't get emotional, she was just flabbergasted that the one that controlled the universe, that she had been trying so desperately to kill, was suddenly dying before her very eyes.
But, truthfully, I thought her acting was terrible. Everything she said sounded like it was being read directly from a script and had no emotion involved, like she was reading a newscast.

reply

I felt Melody improved as the series went along. She's a bit painful to watch at the beginning, but as the show goes further she gets better. Once she gets the cybernetic changes, that's when she has no emotion, which is how she's supposed to act then.

reply

I don't think it would have been impossible for the Rangers to defeat him. I mean it only took a few blasts to his back from Darkonda to weaking him, then he was pretty much done after the explosion once Specter seemingly devoured the ship Darkonda was in.

Rangers would have likely had to sacrafice something big like a zord or something to take him down.

reply

Dark Specter is pure evil just like Zordon is pure good. There isn't need for anything beyond what they represent.
