will never understand how he could be so upset about his mom getting death penalty -- the bitch killed his wife and unborn child. i read some of the website; and saw a comment left by a relative of Olga saying RIP Olga and her unborn child.. i never even heard of this true story until this movie; which i still haven't finished watching; it just makes me sick -- i guess for him to have any remorse for a woman (his mother of all ppl) to kill his wife and unborn child.. he obviously moved on marrying a few times; but had children w/his last wife of 37 years -- the woman was sick in her head, he shoulda cut all ties from her when he got older - before he met and married the nurse.. mayb disappeared and used a diff name - ANYTHING .

I think he realized how sick his mother really was. Part of him still loved her, as most sons would.
I don't know if I would have fought for her like he did, but he felt partly responsible for her mental state & her actions.

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

I don’t know if you will read this but it’s in reply about not understanding how he could be upset about him mom getting sentenced to death. She was abusive but not in a normal abusive way. Her relationship with her son was unnatural and it is actually today classified as a form of sexual abuse. I read a book on a case where dad was like this with his young daughter who was 6. Together they acted more like husband & wife. The book is called Daddy’s Little Princess by Cathy Glass. Anyway, it’s also a form of brain washing so it is very understanding how he could be upset. If you ask many abused kids they still love their parents and wish them no harm. I can say the same from my own childhood abuse. I don’t want my parents to die even though I’ve spent a life time in therapy due to my past.
