In a different setting how would Cal react to finding out Rose is a fake fiancé?

Cal not being told that Rose is a brainwashed secret agent and their engagement was a cover.

She was still a beautiful young woman, with right social standing. Hey may have even known the family was in trouble financially, but it wouldn't have matter to him because he was already wealthy. It was also an arranged marriage, and they didn't have any chemistry. Cal's plan to win her over was to spoil her and shower her with gifts, and this only becomes easier when they actually need the money.

Cal saw her as a possession, so I don't think he ever cared her motivations. He cared that he didn't have control of "his possession".

This is a plot twist where Rose is a secret agent who had her memory erased and programmed to believe she's a socialite, her arranged marriage is all a cover and Cal isn't in on it, when her secret mission is over they plan to change her back which throws Cal into a fit of rage that his entire engagement is all a lie.
