If we're talking about attractiveness, I'm surprised you even remember the brief appearance from Cynthia Geary after we're treated to the monumental beauty of Irene Bedard (Suzy Song). Oh my God, she was breathtaking.

Or... the movie could've been what it was about, and you can buy the entire Northern Exposure series and wear out the discs watching the episodes with Shelley in them.

Who played the woman in the hospital? Think it was Perrey Reeves from Entourage? She was the one I noticed.
