Do some colleges actually have cafeterias/Dining Halls like that?

Mine (Tarleton State University) had a big dining hall that actually looked a lot like the one in this movie. Some days there would be a ton of people eating in there, some days it was dead. It just depends. Students like that they have the option to grab something quick on campus, but obviously college kids are gonna want to go out and get lunch elsewhere with friends a lot of the time too.
