this movie was the FAIL!

Lol, you would think a movie on this submit would do well, considering the popularity of the Lamas. Unfortunately, it didn't even make 50% of it's production cost, let alone a profit. I am pleasantly surprised!

Political beef over a movie about Tibet = A illusion cause by illusion within a illusion.

Never met the honourable Dalai Lama, but predicts that he doesn't start Internet Beefs.

yongke_yu (who started this thread) is probably Chinese and also a dope. He writes something that's obscure and judges the film by money made at the box office. It was nominated for several Academy Awards and was embraced as one of Scorsese's best films. Then he doesn't even hang around long enough to answer questions on why he didn't like the film??? Maybe he's just another stupid troll who roams the internet raining on other people's parade. I truly dislike nerds like yongke_yu. So I say from the bottom of my heart, yongke_yu, you really suck bigtime!!!

I love this movie and its portrayal of the Dalai Lama and getting out there the plight of Tibet (the more pressure china gets from the western world the sooner their genocide and cultural slaughter will end!)...it has been one of my fav movies for some time, I dont care about production cost or how much others dislike it.

You are a true ass! I guess the only thing of value to you is money. So you are not only an ass but a spiritually impoverished person. One could almost feel sorry for you (but not quite).

Beautiful story. Excruciating slow pace and annoying music. I think the editor should be forced to watch it again and again, until he or she repents. I'd like two hours of my life back. Politics aside, I give it a 5 stars out of 10.
