You Americans are no better! (Do not enter if you get easily offended)

I'm not going to get upset here, but I appreciate the irony of you insulting Americans and then requesting that they responds without using curses. Anyway:
- Tibet was China's for hundreds of years? Yes and the Qing Dynasty pretty much stole everything it wanted. Let's not forget that before that Tibet was ruled by the Yuan, so Mongolia has just as good a claim to it as China does...
- A religious extremist who wants to separate his country because they follow a different religion? Ok, let's get this back in the proper order. They chose to follow a religion. China decided to randomly massacre people to "cleanse" the area of that religion. So the people you can compare yourselves to, with regards to motivation and historical period, are the nice folk of Nazi Germany, not 20th century America.
- If you deny Tibet the right to exist, I wonder what you think of Israel. Tibet existed under a legitimate form for a lot longer. I'm not baiting a flame war here. I am genuinely interested: it'll either show inconsistency in your thinking, or reveal an interesting philosophy that would make for a good discussion.
- China ended slavery in Tibet? I'd always wondered what they put on their internet to plug the holes their censorship left behind. Now I know.
- America has a dark past, but at least its present is a bit less shameful, whereas China rolls on, crushing political and religious dissent with no regard for the freedom and dignity of many of its own people.

China is also claiming lands & the waters of the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea. Making claims doesn't make it so.

Not to mention America did not have a very good part in all of this as well. We basically aided tibet (barely) just so China would oppose tibet even more. Our aid was mostly funds serving only to challenge the Chinese government in a cold war scheme to destabalize them, and not to help the people of Tibet from oppression.

Why can't both Chinese and Western netizens both just engage in some dialogue and find a common ground? The fact is that human rights is inviolable right? It means that if they're violated, they're violated and whatever happens in one country doesn't justify whatever happens in another. What doesn't help is when somebody claims the moral high ground and argues that because of whatever injustices and inequalities exist elsewhere, their country is superior.
