Annie is a Karen

The character played by KST is a total Karen. Annie is an extremely entitled upper middle class woman who is used to being in charge and bossing people around. Witness the way she speaks to the nurse in the hospital. Her husband has apologises to her. Working as an editor of a high profile magazine, she is used to people bowing and scraping in front of her. Tom Booker is someone who doesn't do that even though she tries bulldoze him when she tries to get his help at first. Annie is probably based on Anna Wintour and Tina Brown.
