Favorite Robin Williams scene?

For me, it is probably the scene on the park bench after Sean and Will's first therapy session. Absolute dynamite scene. Obviously really moved their relationship forward.

The same scene for me. Close seconds were when they first met and he gets upset when Will starts talking about his wife and also when they opened up to each other and were sitting around talking about the Carlton Fisk World Series homer and the wife farting herself awake at night and he and Will laughing together.

My favorite Robin Williams scene is his first day on the job, as the new DJ in "Good Morning, Vietnam", when he surprised everyone with the way he did his show.

Tough one. One that I would use in a drama skit would be his dialouge with Will after the NSA interview. "Where's your soulmate?"

There is many great scenes in this movie. But the one I think is not talk about as much, is the intense argument Sean and Prof. Lambeau had before Will walked in.

That was just great toe to toe acting going on there.

Very late post but I will anyway --
I saw GWH in a bin at a crummy, low-rent convenience store recently. I don't want to buy a lot of DVDs just to sit on them unwatched. Didn't look what the price was, but I was definitely tempted to pay for it. I really enjoyed it when it first came out, whatever plot holes it might have. And it's not all Matt D, it's also Robin W. An early serious role.
Gotta love Robin Williams. He was nutty and warm and daring.
I don't miss him any more than I miss John Wayne (random example) but his personal complexities are certainly worth considering. Really a crazy talent. Love that guy Robin Williams. Garp ! Nanu Nanu ! Photoshop guy. Awakenings. Even an episode of L&O: SVU. Jumanji. GM Vietnam. Dead Poets.
Holy crikey !

That one is probably mine, too, though it's very difficult to choose just one. Robin Williams was pitch perfect throughout the film.

I watched this film again tonight, and I'm still deeply saddened by his death. To know that we'll never be delighted by his tremendous gifts again is just...depressing. Thankfully, he left behind so many great films, many of which I've not yet discovered. I just got in the Criterion Blu-ray of The Fisher King today, and I'm so looking forward to seeing it for the first time later today.

Thanks for reminding me of The Fisher King. Yet another grouping of talent I really like and a great result - like Brazil !
Love FK. Thanks again for bringing the film up, even if it was four years ago.

When Will asked him how much he bench presses...and he responded "285."

I laughed out loud on that one. Ah...yeah, right.
