I am a huge Joe Pesci fan ever since I saw Home Alone and Casino. He is always playing either a viscious gangster (casino) or a foul-mouthed comedian (lethal weapon, my cousin vinny). Someone tell me what the HELL is wrong with this film, I like fishing...

You wanna Know why? Because this movie flat out stinks . there is no dialougue no humor and no story. This is one of the few movies i fell a sleep in it was awful . the most annoying thing is that joe pesci and danny glover both have this annoying stutter for the whole movie . God I hate that voice its lucky that it gets 2/10 cause it deserves worse

It was terrible. I think that because they were knumb-nuts, they did dumb things, but if they were just normal, maybe the jokes might have worked, but I only got up to 50mins of the movie, cause I would rather eat broken glass, then watch the rest.

The movie is horrible (IMHO), the basic story of going on a fishing trip and then encountering a buncha *beep* it's predictable. And you have these two actors, Joe Pesci and Danny Glover, the least the two could've done was a "Lethal Weapon" Movie-Spinoff! =\ Ahh well
I thought it was extremely funny. The whole lightning thing and the sleepwalking scene kicked ass. Anybody who came in expecting an Oscar-worthy masterpiece should've known better to begin with.

These 2 actors play amaizngly well with each other and are comfortable with each others styles. i laughed my ass of when watching it

exactly, why does this get totally dissed? i saw it years ago, and i found it very enjoyable, great cast list, great storylines, if i recall right. also, i might add i don't agree with one guy on this board that says mel gibson should have been in it (instead i guess), this is a comedy. all through i think, and he isn't a comedic actor, is he. i'll check this out if it airs again. anyway, as i recall it i liked it.

Watching this right now and think it's great! I guess the low rating is because Pesci's in a PG movie and doesn't say 'f' every other word. Glover is great and refreshing to see him in a comedy.
shareI think you've got it right. Some people don't like PG movies because of the lack of profanities. I suppose that Joe Pesci isn't a PG actor. As for me, I didn't think it was that bad. I've rated it 5/10.
