On his fellow mates calling the male crook Julian a girl's name "Julie".

Besides it being perhaps a little immature and childlike, and also, couldn't they think or even HE retort that Julian is actually an entirely normal MALE name and even reference some known at the time British figures like the acclaimed news reporter and war correspondent Julian Manyon or even the son of the deceased musician John Lennon called Julian Lennon or some other musician named Julian Bream among others?

Or would this have ZERO effect on them teasing him with it? Also, maybe some of them weren't MEANT to entirely or occasionally tease him with it, if maybe the NAME "Julian" is too long for some people and they want to shorten it, why not say call him "Jool" or "Jools" etc?
