I didn't remember Alicia being quite so chubby

No wonder she wore high waisted black pants. He ass is bigger than I thought along with her tummy.

I thought she looked so HOT in this movie with a little weight on her. To me this was her peak of hotness, then she became a skinny vegan and the roles stopped coming in. 5/10

Look at the night sky, where does it end?

It's from 97, low cut pants weren't that in yet, esp. not as low as they are now.

She's not chubby here, just because she doesn't look like an anorexic.

are you insane? in what sense of the word is Alicia Silverstone fat in this movie? that girl has never had an unnecessary pound on her. she's skinnier in this movie than most of america now.

Alicia is 5'5. that means, according to bmi, she is not overweight until she reaches 150 pounds. during this movie, she was in the normal weight percentile, and she definitely wasn't no 150 pounds.

this is why there are pro-anas and such a need today to have your bones showing. because if a celebrity gains a few pounds and has a healthy body, god forbid, celebrities are anything but anorexic. what happened to the days when marilyn monroe was one of the most beautiful women alive, with her healthy body? now people feel they need to weigh 90 pounds to be beautiful, and it's not. it's disgusting. a little fat along with muscle are needed to keep the skin taught and healthy looking, especially in the face to maintain a young look.

so she wasn't chubby, she was healthy. celebrities could take a lesson from her body weight in this movie. maybe then young girls wouldn't be dying of starvation and pro ana propaganda like "giving into food shows weakness. be strong, and you'll be better than everyone else", "every time you say no to food, you say yes to thin", and "when you resist the pain of hunger, it means you're not a slave to your body" (all actual quotes taken from pro-ana websites). people look to the media for what is beautiful. i wouldn't mind the media showing girls that healthy is beautiful.

also, she wore those pants because that was the style back then. not because she was trying to hide her healthy body. i'm not some huge fan of Alicia Silverstone, mainly because she is a PETA member (not that i have anything against not abusing animals, but peta is just dumb. they go after the stupidest things and have no concept of biology), but it's not only insane to call someone chubby when they are anything but, especially when young girls see posts like that and think, "gee, i've got the same build as she did in this movie, i must be fat too. i need to lose weight".

In no way is Alicia remotely "chubby" in this movie; rather, she has sexy womanly curves and doesn't look like a frickin' walking stick.

It's idiotic posts like this that drive women to anorexia.
