I've seen this movie many times, I actually like it, but I've been noticing Jonah just disappears at the end, you see him doing some fancy boxing, during the final fight with the Spaniards, but when the group reaches the Pacific ocean, and walk off towards the north while the credits role, everyone in the groups there, but theres no Jonah. What happened to him???

I watched this movie again just last night, and I friends mentioned this to me. We had never noticed, it's actually why I got on this movie's page :D
I think he probably just ran off. If he would have been killed in the fight, I think they would have made some sort of reference to it.
In the book "the Chris Farley show" that the other poster mentioned, correct- the actor bokeem said they shot a great ending but then the studio wanted to change it. They had to rush a re-shot ending and they didn't use him. He figured, those are the breaks. Still, what a glaring continuity error. To bad the brains behind the movie weren't smarter than that.
