June Carter Cash was only two years older than Duvall

shareI just rewatched the film a few days ago and was thinking about how they looked pretty close in age. We've seen this before though, a lot.
In any case, June did a great job for the brief amount of screen time that she was given. And for Duvall, this film is a triumph on every level.
