Who Else STILL LOVES Anastasia?

Okay, so I'm 16 (almost 17) and I still love this movie, I watch it just as much as I watch my other movies, I don't consider it COMPLETELY a kid's movie. Animation is not only for kids, its an art-form and needs to be recognized as so!

So how old are the faithful fans of Anastasia?!

I am 45 years old, and I still love this movie, as well. I saw it, in the theaters, when it first came out. I loved it, then, and I love it now. I was so pleased that Deana Carter, a country music singer, that I loved, created the song, "Once Upon a December". I LOVE that song, and it was even nominated, for a Golden Globe! :D You are so very correct, that Animated Films, are NOT, just for kids. Sometimes, the stories in the animated films, are treated with more respect, than actual, live-action films.

I love. That is all. But I love strongly, exclusively...steadfastly.

I'm 23, and I like the movie. I actually liked it better when I was older than when I was little. I could think about ideas like someone wanting home and belonging and identity more. I understand the interplay between Dmitri and Anastasia, that paradoxical love/hate relationship. And I can appreciate Dmitri's heroism at the end, where he was willing to go out of Anastasia's life once he realized who she really was, even though it broke his heart, because he thought she deserved better. It's a good movie.
