funniest 'smart guy' moment..

i remember this episode from back in the day when this show was around.. mo, marcus and t.j. had to present a project, and t.j. was acting stupid. marcus started to worry because tj was acting idiotic, meaning that they wouldnt do good on their project..

however, the funniest part of the episode was when they were presenting their project, and they went to each boy one by one, to see what they were thinking inside their head... so marcus was worrying, t.j. was getting nervous (whether or not he should show his brother that he was just acting like an idiot instead of being smart)..

then they focused on mo, and hes just beatboxing in his head with this spaced out look on his face HAHAHAHAAHAHHASHA HOLY crap that has to be one of the funniest moments in television history... i saw it many years ago, and it still makes me laugh hard.

I remember that too!
I also remember the episode when Yvette wanted plastic surgery and her father went up to her one morning going,"I've been thinking about breasts all night."
She gives him this look I think.
"I mean your breasts."
/Same look
"I mean...big ones."

"Let me start over again,orange juice?"

Something like that.

they start laughing cause Dion was passing by, whihc is the reason why they're pretending becuase Dion keeps pursuing Yvette.

MY favourite part would have to be...ummm.

not exactly my favourite but its pretty funny,

Mo seeks out Yvette's help on cooking, so he was making dinner for his final test, then yvette said why aren't u cooking at ur own house, mo says they dont appreciate fine dining, not like here, looks like they never ate a good meal ever in their lives.

Then they turn around and Floyd is dipping the bread in that sauce he was making, *beep* GREAT!

Mo just plain stole the show...

Mo: (Briefing TJ for his 3 dates for the date) *chuckles sarcasticaly and goes serious* Listen up closely or good me are going to die!

Mo: *looking at the prices at the Lunch counter sit-in photos* Good Lord, I
coulda lived like a King in those days!

the funniest smart guy moment is when the guy tries to get him to play the surfboard game naked.

yea i rememenber those moments funny as hell!!

my favorite was when that one boy was mean to tj but everyone thought he was really nice and smart and when the kid was looking at yvette well she was changing so tj was like "you can call my computer stupid, you can direspect me, but dont mess with my family" and he turns around and punches him in the face!! that was awesome!!

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS...i dont know where you guys are from but if you get the family channel on your tv...smart guy is on there

anyway i like the one were marcas and mo have to make up their own business for a school project and they do a barber shop and theyre taking business away from a real barbershop and they have to change it and they do "hood safaris" where they take white ppl into the hood...lol i love how marcas says "lets go have some fun in the hood!"

my favorite one was the one where mo and yvette and a couple other people are trying to win the car and they have to stay in it with the huge guy and the old guy and mo is pissing the old guy of hes like aight the old guy is like alright its alright

Nicky piky- thanks so much for writing about that scene =) that was my favorite! All these years I've been trying to think of how that scene went. I knew it had to do with the voice recorings and the bathroom, but I forgot what the dad and tj's voice recording said. But when I read it a few minutes ago I laughed my butt off! That really was one of my favorite scenes when I was younger. So yeah. Thanks 4 mentioning that episode it was hilarious!

Man...coach gerber DEFINITELY my fav. character. His life was so depressing. He always made me laugh. Man just thinking about it is making me laugh now. I loved it when he had to be the math teacher:

"the quadratic formula IS...x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4ac over 2a.......what the HECK does that mean?" hahaha so funny!

I loved the episode where Mo tries to find his Birth Mother, and then Yvette comes in with a beach ball belly, and it deflates, so Marcus throws wter in the guys face and TJ runs out with the form thing, shouting!

I can think of three off the top off of the top of my head that stick out to me:

1: When Marcus and Mo try to make Dion look stupid by telling him raincoats are the new popular trend, and Mackie comes down the steps and shouts "Ahoy there Homies!" I don't know why, but that one cracks me up everytime.

2: Where Coach Gerber has to teach the spanish class and he starts off with "This year I'm going to learn yous guys some spanish...Capisci?"

3: When Marcus had to take TJ's place on the game show, and the guy asked "How much was paid for the Louisiana purchase?" and Marcus responded, "Well, the most you can take out of an ATM in DC is $300 and you wanna snag a 20 incase something come up, so I'm gonna say, $280." and the way Yvette looked at him when he was giving her the "I got this wired" thumbs up.

Favorite Smart Guy Episode:

When a fire burns down the science lab and Mo gets blamed. Their interviewing the principal:

TJ: Does Mo Tibbs constantly lose things?
Principal: Oh, yes. We gave him his own box in the lost and found. Finally, we gave it to him to take home...he lost it.

Definitly Mo beatboxing was great!

I also loved when MO was hooked up to a lie detector and various statements are read out including Oprah, Oprahs money and female high school flu victims take ice baths. Genuis.

Smart guy should have been called the "Mo Show".

I love his face when he pretends to play Bass, he knows he cant play so he just goes over the top with the facial expressions.

my favorite episode has got to be when TJ gets stuck with 3 dates to the dance and on the night of the dance Mo walks in:

Marcus: oh man, what are you doing here?
Mo: Droppin' by to say hello to my fellows (or something like that)
TJ: You're supposed to be at the dance!
Mo: That was tonight??

I thought of another one!

When TJ, Marcus, and Mo are trying to find out who Mo's real mother is and after an unsuccessful try it goes something like:

TJ: Just baby X? Don't you know anything else about yourself?
Mo: No, just that I was left here and called baby X, baby E-C-K-S.
TJ:...You didn't mention that part, I searched for a baby by the letter X.
Mo: Heh, you call yourself a genius.

Ok, it's a lot funnier to watch, the reactions are priceless.

i loved that one! i aslo like in that one when tj calls his dad floaty. and when hes at the doctors and hes "swimming" on the stool and says "backstroke!" lmao and then hes like "hey dad im milking a cow! moo!" with the rubber gloves. and then he turns off the lights cuz hes pretending to be a captain, and its all dark and out of nowhere u hear "mooooooooooooo!" lmao i thought it was hilarious!

i also loved the one where tj and marcus read janets online diary, and then she pretended to be like lizzie borden. so her and her girlfriends came over to the house with yvette, and they dressed up in raincoats, pig masks, and had rubber butcher knives. so marcus and tj ran all over the house screaming really high-pitched screams, and when they went into the bathroom to get the baseball bat, they see a "killer" outside and the lightning flashes on their faces and lmao, marcus' face is priceless!!
