Speaking of guilty pleasures? This ain't no Showgirls!!
I don't think I liked this film at all, not even as a guilty pleasure. I think I might have even preferred Showgirls!
Anyone agree?

Yeah - Showgal`s silliness actually had some charm to it. This fillum is just a hackjob.

No. I've seen three versions of Showgirls: NC-17 (theater when it came out), R (Netflix) and a TV version, edited. The TV version is a 4/10. R version 3/10. NC-17 version 1/10.
Striptease, for me, is a 5/10.

I prefer Showgirls because that move is hilarious. I love to hate watch it. So bad, but so funny and I love Gina Gershon and Kyle McLaughlin.
Striptease has more plot, and while I like Ving and Burt, I find it boring and am not sure during many parts if it's supposed to be funny or not.
Showgirls feels like it's mocking itself but Striptease often feels like it wants to be serious.
I always thought Showgirls got a bad rap --- I always liked it--- This movie not as much
