What happened to Eddie?

Did Alec balwin kill him, or he just went away, because I loved him in this movie.

Just watched the movie last night.

The Teacher slit Eddie's throat. This was the scene when Alec called Demi and explained to her that he was on his way to Tu'Chi to kill Oliver. As the scene ended we saw Eddie's TV followed by Eddie's bloody face.

I had the same question. I saw it on TV which explains why I didn't get to see this part.

But Why did he kill Eddie? They were friends and Eddie came to warn him that he was about to be killed. I don't get it.

I wouldn't say they were friends, and Eddie did not come to The Teacher to warn him he was about to be killed, he came to tell him to go to a meeting where he was going to be killed. Eddie worked for the family. Eddie helped Annie give the tape to Boffano. Eddie was going to be loyal to the Boffano family, not to The Teacher.

You know, I thought that was Demi's geeky-looking pseudo boyfriend, until he turned up at the very end... I guess I wasn't paying much attention to this dull, lackluster "thriller".
