Are you a fan of superhero movies? Have you ever stopped to think about how many comic book adaptations have been made in the past couple of decades? It's hard to believe, but between the year 2000 and 2022, there have been nearly 300 of them!

But rewind to the '90s, and the superhero movie landscape was quite different. DC had Batman, but what about Marvel? Marvel, now a mega powerhouse, was struggling financially and in debt for hundreds of millions of dollars. However, that didn't stop them from trying to make movies, even if they were made for TV or never released.

One such movie was "Generation X," based on the comic book team of the same name. The film was an 87-minute TV pilot that failed to launch a series.

In this video, you'll hear all about the "Generation X" movie, including its plot, characters, and powers. You'll also learn about the comic book team it's based on, and why Marvel decided to take a risk on a lesser-known property.
