Does anyone know where I can find this movie?

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can find this movie on DVD? I have searched countless hours at different video stores, shopping malls trying without sucess I would like to have a copy to add to my Generation X collection. I have even tried looking it up on the internet but still can't find anything. I live in Sydney Australia so if anyone has any suggestions that may help I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

~Destiny~

HI

I have it on a PAL VHS tape, but unfortunately only with Hungarian language.
No English, no subtitle.
Cool movie, but of course it's a bit silly :) Not a real X-Men film, but who cares?

If you haven't found it already, I have just captured my tape copy and would be happy to send it to you. Quality won't be great.

reply

Can I get in on that? I'd be extremely grateful!

reply

I made the offer to a fellow Australian on the basis that it wouldn't cost much for postage. It gets a little more complicated and expensive to go further afield. I'm not about to get into the charging game.

reply

My apologies, I thought by "captured" you meant you had transferred it to the computer -- and as such it wouldn't cost anything to upload. Never mind.

reply

I have but at DVD quality its big. Where would I upload it to? It's too big to email. I suppose I could try to convert it to something smaller if you're that keen.

reply

I have it on VHS too. Just capture into Moviemaker or, for MAC, Final Cut or iMovie. When you burn it to DVD, it should automatically compress it to MPEG 2. It'll shrink from about 20 GB to 4.5 GB.

Email me if you have any questions.

I have this movie on my computer right now. The quality is decent at best, but watchable. If anyone can point me to a hosting site that can take 700 megs, I can try to upload it. No guarantees, but I can try.

If you have high-speed internet, you can use BitTorrent. Use a BitTorrent Client like ABC or such.

Post to something like demonoid.com and let people download it from their tracker. (You would have to stay connected for a while though).

reply

Yeah I know what BitTorrent is, but I'm not on a high-speed connection and they only computer that I have access to that has a high-sped connection doesn't have administrative rights and I can't download any Torrent programs.

leave a broken heart broke, it'll just breake again

reply

you can upload it to sites such as megaupload.com or rapidshare, if you do please post the link here, as i would also like to have a copy of this

reply

Or you could use sendspace.com or oscdn.com

reply

Has anyone posted this yet? I actually still remember watching this on TV. When I ask ayone if they saw this they always say no and that it was never made. Glad to see that I'm not crazy. I really need to watch this again. Any luck??

Streamload is a good one too - I'd love to be in on this! The movie itself is a lot of fun, but some of the songs on the soundtrack are really what I'm looking for. Shoot, if someone can tell me those, I'd just wait for the inevitable DVD release and grab the songs. If anyone who has a copy can help me out, PLEASE email me - maybe I can help you out with something?

Cheers,
Doc

I forgot about this topic, but still have the movie, so if there are still people who want me to upload it, I'll try. Or I can burn it to a disc and for the people who are on dial up or something, I can mail a copy to whoever as long as they pay for shipping which I'm sure wouldn't be much at all.

reply

I am wondering if you have a copy? If so, could you tell me?

reply

I just bought it on eBay. Here's the kicker, though: They have swear words in it! I thought this movie was made for TV, wasn't it? So why even bother to put cussing in it? Well, it's in there on the copy I got. Jubilee drops the F-bomb a couple of times, and says a couple of other choice words. In fact, I think she's the only one that does swear in it. Still, it's a decent copy, and I got it for only $12, shipping included. I reccomend it for anyone that's looking for it. I did, and I was happy.

reply

Is the copy you found on eBay a bootleg or was there an actual DVD release in Canada??

reply

I don't know. It came with a DVD case with an insert, and it looked professional, so I'm guessing that it was an authentic release. I can't be sure, but then again, I don't really care one way or the other.
