Er, with the last part that's uttered by Keanu Reeves' character...

Most cops especially who go on the dangerous assignments that involve armed confrontations with dangerous criminals do NOT exactly bring family photographs with them to work in their badges or pockets in order to protect their identities, I think Keanu's character was slightly wrong there.
