Any one ever watched the original ?

When you watch the remake after watching the original it makes you realize how much more PC the American film is compared to the original. As an example the male maid character was a black man in the original and they made fun of slavery, something the American obviously would not even attempt to do. It does not feel racist at all, it feels like they are mocking rich white people more than anything. I love both version but the original definitely pushes the envelopes a bit more and has a lot more "I cant believe I'm laughing at this?" moment.
