After Basquiat became famous he basically just dropped him and he was supposed to be his best friend. Even after that Benny was there for him at the end

Agreed.

But Benny was justified in dropping the friendship; Basquiat was clearly irrational during the conversation in the car.

I thought Benicio Del Toro shouldve gotten more screen time. He is so adorable..Yeah, I am crushing on him, lol
