Are you fan of The Hulk and love watching him destroy everything that he can see? Well, this animated TV series gives you all that and more! The Incredible Hulk was the Marvel Animated Universe's fifth series to air. The first episode aired on September 8, 1996, and the final episode aired on November 23, 1997. Stan Lee created the show, which lasted two seasons and had a total of twenty-one episodes. The first season follows Bruce Banner, played by Neil McDonough, as he searches for a solution to free himself of his alter ego, The Hulk. Lou Ferrigno, who played the Hulk in the 1977 live-action series, provided the voice of the Hulk for the first time.

With multiple episodes incorporating characters from previous Marvel cartoons from the time, the series extended the concept of a common Marvel Animated Universe. After UPN determined that Season 1 was too dark, the show's format was revised in the second season, and She-Hulk was made a regular co-star to give "female viewers a chance." As a result, The Incredible Hulk and She-Hulk were formally renamed. The Grey Hulk made an appearance in the second season as well. Today we will be taking a look at the darkest moments that viewers were exposed to in this otherwise fun and interesting series.
